Dallas County Dental Society Foundation
"Dental Health for a Lifetime"

The Dallas County Dental Society Foundation was formed in 1998 as a non-profit charitable organization to expand the fund-raising capabilities of Dallas County Dental Society and continue its worthwhile causes in the community. There is great opportunity to expand upon the excellent level of community service that is already in place, with a history of community efforts ranging from pro bono dental care to dental screenings at area health fairs to applying sealants on the teeth of indigent children to constructing an educational dental exhibit. The Baylor Oral Health Foundation, at its September 25, 1998 board meeting, voted to support the DCDS foundation's project "Dental Health for a Lifetime" with a grant of $50,000 towards their project held in conjunction with the Dental Society's dental education center at The Science Place in Fair Park and the Baylor College of Dentistry.
