Welcome to the Baylor Oral Health Foundation Home Page. The Baylor Oral Health Foundation is a non-profit corporation created in 1993 chartered by the State of Texas to receive, manage, invest and disburse funds to The Texas A&M Health Science Center - Baylor College of Dentistry.  The foundation’s mission is to “provide Baylor College of Dentistry with funds and support to sustain institutional preeminence through excellence in students, faculty, research and outreach”.  It does this by raising and managing private dollars for world-class faculty, leading edge research, academic programs and scholarships.  Indeed, private support helps the College go beyond the limits of State funding to provide innovative and high quality programs for thousands of students and patients whose lives are touched by the College.  The foundation accomplishes its management mission by providing asset management for endowment and quasi-endowment funds, which benefit the College; and managing agency funds for specific departments and divisions of the College in accordance with donor wishes.

Though Baylor College of Dentistry and the Texas A&M System Health Science Center strive to maximize resources from State appropriations, grants and contracts, there are still unmet needs throughout the College.  Private gifts to the Foundation and the management of those gifts will help ensure the Baylor College of Dentistry maintains its preeminence and position of excellence in the years to come.  At this site, you will find information about our activities and how we operate.  Thank you for your interest.

The Internal Revenue Services recognizes the Baylor Oral Health Foundation as a publicly supported tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization.  Contributions to the Foundation by individuals, corporations, organizations and other foundations are qualified for tax deduction.
